Autoscribe Ltd. develops and distributes business, scientific, and laboratory informatics software solutions.
History
Autoscribe was founded in 1981 as a privately-owned company based in Berkshire, England.[1]
The North American distribution and support team for Matrix Gemini was Zumatrix, Inc., but Zumatrix was absorbed into a new Autoscribe subsidiary "Autoscribe Informatics Inc." at the beginning of 2012, giving Autoscribe a presence in the U.S.[2]
Technology and products
Matrix product line
Matrix Gemini is a configurable laboratory information management system (LIMS) solution that "can be used in a wide variety of laboratories, both in size and application."[3] One of the main features of this software is a set of configuration tools designed to add greater flexibility to security and workflow applications.[4]
Matrix Express is a slimmer version of Matrix Gemini, one "designed to be taken off the shelf, therefore easy to implement and easy to use."[5]
Matrix Tracker is a tracking application "that can be configured to meet the precise requirements of your application by configuring the core software."[6]
Matrix Study Management is software designed "to manage and report on protocol driven studies associated with pharmaceutical stability or shelf-life testing"[7] and features the ability to manage stability storage room operations, inventory, audit trail generation, and protocol design and approval.

Pricing
Source for pricing information is directly from Autoscribe via the Laboratory Informatics Institute. As prices may change at any time, always contact the vendor directly to obtain a price list or quote.
Note 1: For reference, an "n" at the end of a part should be replaced with the number of users. The part number for a 10-user license of Matrix Gemini, for example, would be converted to "MG1012/10".
Note 2: Options are priced per system. Price for starter configurations is in addition to the price of the product license.

- System configuration and implementation is performed at a rate of $1,500 a day.
