ID Business Solutions Ltd. (doing business as IDBS) develops and distributes laboratory informatics software solutions.


History

The company was formally founded in August 1989.[1]

In June 2009, IDBS acquired InforSense, maker of enterprise business intelligence and reporting software.[2]

In April 2016, IDBS announced at the Bio-IT World Conference & Expo it would be deploying its solutions to the cloud, making them available via the software as a service (SaaS) distribution model.[3]

Awards and honors

IDBS received the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the categories of International Trade and Innovation in 2003.[4]It also received the same International Trade award in 2011.[5]

The company was also awarded the 2010 Frost & Sullivan Enabling Technology of the Year award for best R&D knowledge management solution.[6]
