Just released is the ''[[LII:LIMS Selection Guide for Food Safety and Quality|LIMS Selection Guide for Food Safety and Quality]]''. Similar in vein to the ''[[LII:Laboratory Informatics Buyer's Guide for Medical Diagnostics and Research|Laboratory Informatics Buyer's Guide for Medical Diagnostics and Research]]'' released this time last year, this new guide recognizes the important role the food and beverage [[laboratory]] plays in our society towards food and beverage safety and [[Quality (business)|quality]], as well as the increasing need for systems like the [[laboratory information management system]] (LIMS) to enhance the lab's safety and quality efforts. LIMSwiki has yet another guide for you, this time involving the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. The first edition of the LIMS Selection Guide for ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratories is now live for your perusal. This guide looks at the ISO/IEC 17025-certified laboratory, what roles it plays in society, the efforts it must go to remain compliant, and the benefits is discovers by doing so. First, happy 2023 to you all! With a new year comes a new guide for LIMSwiki, keying in on some of that food and beverage content described in December 2022. Just released is the LIMS Selection Guide for Food Safety and Quality.
