University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) is a state-related (public-private hybrid) research university located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. The university also includes four undergraduate schools located at campuses within Western Pennsylvania: Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown, and Titusville.
