Introduction
LabLynx enables you to add and edit standard industrial code (SIC) information.
System administrators use LabLynx ELab to manage SIC information.
Adding or editing SIC information
The SIC Codes List screen displays SIC information currently defined in the system:
1. From the SIC Codes List, select an SIC or click New. The system displays the SIC Code Details screen:
2. Complete the fields of the SIC Code Details screen. Fields in bold are required. The various fields are explained below:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| SIC Code | Enter the code for the SIC. |
| SIC | Enter the SIC. |
| NAIC Code | Type the NAIC (North American Industrial Classification) Code. |
| Published | Select the check box to publish the SIC. |
| Active | Select the check box to activate the SIC. |
3. When you are finished, click Save and then Done.
