About the LabLynx critical iServer update
This information was released January 5, 2006, and it applies to iServer 3.61 and all previous versions of iServer.
This critical patch can be downloaded from the LabLynx FTP site using your company's login and password. The path to this download is:
- LLX\iServer\iServer_3_61.1.zip
Please install this update as soon as possible. A recent support incident has initiated a code change in this .dll. There is no impact to system data but there has been a recent report of a circumstance where the system, in handling date formats, has caused the application to error out with a license expiration notice. We have made corrections that address this issue, but we need you to update your iServer ASAP in order to avoid any potential downtime.
The iServer .dll's are core to all installations of the LabLynx products and should be updated with this critical update as soon as possible.
We will be performing a number of quality improvements, upgrades, and enhancements to iServer over the coming months and we will notify you as new versions become available. The upgrade process should only take a few minutes to perform once you have downloaded the file(s).
