Original issue
The original request was stated as such:
On the main data entry screen, please have the default filter limit the list of active batches to those for the location the user is logged into. For example, if I sign on to Kissimmee EIA, I should see active Kissimmee EIA batches only. Currently, each location sees all batches in the system, and this is confusing to the users.
Solving the issue
The issue does not have to do with the filter. What needs to happen is that the location/department set-up has the All Users flag set for each department.
To correct this:
- Go to the System folder, then the Security folder, and then the Location Management folder.
- Click on the location you wish to work on.
- Uncheck the A check box for all users you wish to work on the associated department.
- Click on the View/Assign link and assign the users that are allowed to work in that location/department.
